Tonight, JENING celebrated his 720th hour as spy — ONE MONTH AS SPY! JENING thanks all of his friends from the D7 clan, particularly his good friends Reidzor and Zero-Rogue, for hosting JENING’s party on the D7 Flea Market server (IP: 8.6.9.23:27015)!
At the party, JENING debuted his newest JENING song, Secret JENING Man, to the tune of Johnny River’s Secret Agent Man! JENING was happy to debut this song on the Zero-Rogue’s Amphitheater map, custom made for JENING concerts! JENING also thanks all his friends from across the globe for helping JENING celebrate and attending JENING’s little shindig!

700 HOURS AS SPY
As of Saturday, March 14, 2009, JENING has played over 700 hours as spy! JENING passed this latest milestone on the Division 7 Flea Market server (8.6.9.23:27015) while playing a low-key game of Arena Lumberyard with many of his good friends! JENING intends to have a party when JENING hits 720 hours, i.e. ONE MONTH AS SPY! JENING invites his friends to check the JENINGblog frequently for updated details!

MEDICK’S MADHOUSE IS BACK
JENING’s is very happy to announce that the Medick’s Madhouse (69.12.100.227:27015) is back online after a hiatus of nearly a year! The Madhouse, hosted by JENING’s very good friend MK|Medick was JENING’s very first regular server back in the day (when JENING began playing TF2) and JENING has many fond memories of the MK community! Medick was the first server admin to regularly advertise the JENINGnet on his server! JENING appreciated and appreciates that and looks forward to more fun on Medick’s to come!
JENING wrote and performed Backstabbing Spy to express his non-appreciation of the original spy changes contained in the scout update. Valve quickly responded to the community outcry, and restored sidestabs. JENING thought it appropriate to add a fourth and final verse to Backstabbing Spy in recognition of those efforts!
JENING chose to debut the new Extended Version of Backstabbing Spy at a more informal and unannounced concert on Saturday evening! JENING was happy to be able to surprise his good friends on the PHLORPH server with the global debut of Backstabbing Spy – Extended Version. JENING thanks his good friend [A-SP] $ÅZAŦĂŋ for inviting JENING to sing! JENING also thanks all of his good friends at PHLORPH for being a gracious and warm audience! JENING appreciates it!

JENING is very happy to see the new patch notes for Valve’s latest TF2 update, released today, March 5! Specifically:
-Increased backstab check so that Spies can side-stab again
-When disguising, Spies now always start showing the primary weapon in their disguise, and can then switch it with the last-disguise key

JENING has not played the patch yet, but these are exactly the issues JENING was hoping to see addressed when JENING made his first blog post about this! JENING is excited to test it out and invites his friends who are able to test it out before JENING, whether these changes are as they say they are! JENING appreciates it!
EDIT: JENING has been told that crouch jumping, such as onto sentries, dispensers, or other objects, has been severely impaired or eliminated in some circumstances (through a reduction in the height attained through a crouch jump). If this is true, JENING thinks this could make the spy weaker than it was before this update. JENING will reserve judgment until JENING has a chance to test it out.
SECOND EDIT: Valve apparently did not intend the crouch-jump nerf and pledged to fix the error. Read more here>>
JENING thanks his good friends on the D7 server for hosting JENING’s Monday night JENING concert where JENING debuted his new song, Backstabbing Spy (to the tune of Don McLean’s American Pie), which addresses JENING’s thoughts about the new spy changes contained in the scout update. JENING then performed some encore performances on the 503 Bong Squad server! The following are videos from those events (added on a rolling basis)!

JENING apologizes for the postponement of his JENING Concert! JENING underestimated the impact of this Friday’s epic MC Hammer and Vanilla Ice concert that JENING was lucky enough to attend! After consulting with concert organizers, JENING will hold his JENING Concert on Monday, March 2, 2009 at 11:00 p.m. Pacific Time. JENING will be holding the concert on the D7 server on Zero-Rogue’s new Amphitheatre Map!
At the concert JENING will debut his new song, Backstabbing Spy, dedicated to the recent spy changes contained in the Scout Update. JENING will also be singing his classic tunes, including JENING 500 Hours, the JENING Ballad, the JENING Roll, Spying Forever, and the JENING Rap!
JENING is also in need of camerapersons to record video and post onto YouTube! Please let JENING know if you are willing and able to do so!

UPDATE: Because of the high anticipated turnout, JENING understands that not everyone will be able to get on the server! If there is enough demand, JENING would be happy to do an encore performance later tonight on a second server!
